Meet Baxter. The reason corgi knight exists. This lovable bundle of fur was the first to challenge the social normal in Dogonna and decide to become a knight. Even if there were no knights. He’s not one to be stopped by such frivolous things like logic and tradition, he wants to be a knight and by dog it he’s gonna do it.

If anyone ever tells you that fiction writing is easy, I want you to smack them right in the head. Aim for a soft spot like the temple or eyes. Fiction writing is hard and it should be hard. I’m starting this book/blog/podcast because it a challenge, because it a magnificent art form and because people told me I couldn’t do it.
So why write a fantasy novel?
1: Fame. (Hahahah! No.)
2: Fortune. (“Don’t get cocky kid.”)
3: To make your parents respect you. (Maybe with years of therapy Buck-o.)
4: To create something new. (Yeah! This one! That’s the ticket!)
I’m writing Corgi Knight to create, to entertain and to challenge myself. Dungeons and Dragons was my first medium and I crafted an entire world for my players, never once did I realize it could translate into a skill (+5 writing). The above picture is a mural created by my players to thank me for the great time they had. I used a basis of many different things from D&D, but overall it was a story by my hand and a tale of the hero’s by my players. Now it’s time to make something completely new. A world nobody has seen or heard of yet. Something that I can truly give. A world of Corgi Knight.
